BEULAH, MICH., – Central State Bank will celebrate a landmark 100 year anniversary this August. Originally founded in a small office in downtown Beulah in 1913, Benzie County’s community bank is now home to more than 3,000 customers at two full-service locations.
To commemorate the milestone, the bank will host a community cookout on Friday, August 23 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The celebration will be held at the lot adjacent to the Beulah office, located at 49 Benzie Blvd, and the public is invited to attend. Hot dogs, brats and all the fixings will be served. Attendees can enter to win a free iPad.
For a century, Central State Bank has approached banking based on the way residents live and work in the Benzie area. The bank is small enough to know customers’ names, but big enough to offer a variety of up-to-date financial products and services.
“Since 1913, Central State Bank has been taking care of our customers like a good friend would—with their best interests in mind,” said Norman G. Campbell, Central State Bank President & CEO. “We are proud to have been committed to the Benzie community for so many years and look forward to another century of banking.”
