Do I need to have a Central State Bank account to bank online?

Yes. You must have an account with us to use Online Banking. The bill pay feature requires a checking account.Central State Bank has a wide variety of checking accounts that would be perfect for online use.

Do I need a special computer to use Internet banking?

You can use Online Banking with any computer that has Internet access and Netscape Navigator 4.5 or higher, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher. The latest version of these browsers is highly recommended.

Do I need special software to use Online Banking?

No. Online Banking is an Internet-based system, so all you need is a computer, an account, and a username and password.

Is Online Banking safe and is my privacy protected?

Access to an account is by a username and password known only to you, and all transactions are encrypted. Please see our Privacy Statement and Security Statement for more details.

How do I sign-up for Online Banking?

Signing up for Online Banking is easy! You can sign up through your home computer. Enroll online with only your checking account number, social security number and the dollar amount of the last credit (deposit) to your account.

What services are included?

Through Central State Bank Internet Banking, you can manage your eligible accounts from your home or office on your personal computer. You can use Central State Bank Internet Banking to:
- View account balances and review transaction history for checking and savings accounts.
- Transfer money between accounts.
- Transfer money to pay your Central State Bank credit line, Home Equity Line or other line of credit.
- Pay bills to any merchant, institution or individual with a U.S. address.*
- Order copies of cleared checks and past monthly statements.*
- Reorder checks for your checkbook-charge will vary depending on the type of account and checks reordered.
- Communicate directly with the Bank via E-mail.
- Initiate a stop payment.*
- Wire Transfer Funds (Commercial Account Only)*
- Download Checking or Savings transactions for use in Quicken or Microsoft Money.

Can I export my account history into my finance software?

Yes. You can export account history to personal finance software such as Quicken and Microsoft Money™.

How do I change my password.

You will find a menu button called “Password”. Just click the button and you will be asked to enter your new password twice and submit your request. That’s all it takes. Also, you will be asked to change your password the first time you log into Online Banking.

How current is the information provided by Online Banking?

Transactions made through Online Banking will be reflected immediately in the available balance information for your checking and savings accounts. Payments made to your loan accounts will be reflected in your Online Banking information on the following business day.

Can I name my accounts?

Online Banking allows you to change the name of your accounts to reflect your personal needs. If you have special names for your accounts like “Payroll” or “Vacation” you may re-name the accounts on Online Banking.

How do I sign up for bill pay?

How much will it cost?

Bill payment service is currently $4.95 per month. This includes making up to 15 “Bill Payments” a month. Each additional “Bill Payment” is $0.30. We do not charge a set-up fee for this service. The first 60 days are free of charge.

What kind of bill can I pay?

You can make payments to almost anyone or to any business. You can pay your mortgage, car payments, utilities, and credit cards.

How long does it take to pay a bill?

Your earliest Payment Processing Date will be the next business day from the date of entry. You can choose any future date beyond that date if you wish. Allow five (5) business days for mailing from your Payment Processing Date.

How do I know online payments have been made?

Bill Payment includes a View History feature that allows you to verify that your payment was processed. The information includes the name of the payee, your account number, the dollar amount of the payment, the date it was processed, and a confirmation number.

How much is this going to cost me?

The Business Online Banking service currently has a monthly fee of $7.95 which includes Bill Payment for up to 10 transactions a month. Payments made to your CSB loan accounts will be reflected in your Online Banking information the following business day. Transactions made via a bank teller will be posted to your
account the next business day.

You can view your current and prior monthly statement on deposit accounts and your last payment date and dollar amount on your CSB loan accounts.

To add or delete accounts or users, an authorized owner of the account must either make a written request to the bank or contact the Electronic Banking Department directly.
